Xotv that the season has concluded, tba following account of the keen racing in the different rounds will tie of interest' The firel-class race, which is for modols sft overall, 18in beam, with an overhang, created a large amount of interest. The club provided a trophy for the yacht scoring the highest ■number of pointr throughout the season, the winner being Mr J. M'l'herfon's Welcome. This yacht has tailed very consistently, starling in 12 races, and scoring 4 firfts, 3 Mounds, and 3 thirds, heitift unplaced only twice; total point?, 21. Master ,1. Martin's Willie being second, with a total of 19 points, scoring 3 fin is, 4 seconds, and 2 thirds, and being 3 times unplaced. Mr if. Diver's Mattic was third, with a total of 15 pints—4 firsts, 1 second, and 1 third, and 3 times unplaced, and being unable to tap in three of the rounds. The commodore's Huon Hollo came next with & total of 12. The first three yachts were built by Mr •!. M'Phcrsoii, a late employee of Denny llros., of Dumbarton, tho builders of the yacht for Sir T. T,ipton, which is to make au endeavour to win the America Cup. The second-class race also created a large amount cf enthusiasm. The c'.ub provided a trophy for this class on the same condition as the first-class yachts. Only 11 rounds were sailed in this class. The trophy was won by Mr D. Pateraan's Toko, which started 10 times, and 6 firsts, 1 second, 1 third, and wis twice unplaced; 21 points. Mr W. liritle.'idcti'g Ailsa was second, starting 11 titnoi, and scoring 1 firsts, 4 secontls, o thirds, and being twiee unplaced: 17 points. Mr P. Finlay'n Thistle and Mr M'l'herson's ttob Hoy tio'd for third place with 9 points each. The winner was built by Mr \V. 11. Woods, an amateur, whose productions in this line have never proved failures yet. Mr lirittenden built his own yacht. The junior raees were rather unfortunate, the club only being able to get oil' eight in all, the school holiday* picvrnting sonic of the niendwio from being present, as also ditl the rather late hour at which they were sailed. Master A. Wilkinson's Sappho scoured the trophy for highest number of points, starting V limes and scoring 5 lir.ds, .1 second, and bcinif <mcc unplftml: 17 point?. Master A. Williams's liaiubow was second, scoring 1 firtt, 4 seconds, and being once unplaced : 11 points. Mailer Leslie Brittemlcn'.s Kitten was third, starting 7 times, and'searing 1 first. 1 second, and 3 thirds, and being Uvico unplaced: o points. It is the eliib's intention to place the models on view in a' shop in the main thoroughfare, also the trophies won throughout the season by the respective yaeiits, which are to be banded over to the different winners at the club's socifd, which is to be held on May 17.
