(Received March 15, at 10.45 a.m.) The American visible supply of -wheat is J..500,000 bushels. The lead imports for last month were 17,069 tons, including 4440 tone Australian, and the exports 2795 tons. ALL-BRITISH CABLES. March 15. (Received, March 16, at 0,43 a.m.) In the House of Commons, Sir E. A. Sassoon, member for Hythe, instanced the conference of associated Chambers of Commerce, and urged the Government to make efforts to unite all parts of the Empire by an. all-British cable. SPLENDID DONATIONS. Mr Andrew Carnegie has given 51,000,000 sterling towards a superannuation fund for the Piitsburg workmen. He has also pledged himself to spend over £1,000,000 on the Carnegie Institute at Pittsburg. A QUEEN VICTORIA DAY. OTTAWA, March 15. (Received March 16, at 0.43 a.m.) The House of Commons approved of the proposal to make Queen Victoria's Birthday a permanent holiday.
