SALE OF PASTORAL LEASES.

A sale of pastoral run leases was held at tlft Laud Board room yesterday morning. Mr Sessions acted as auctioneer, and there was a fair attendance of bidders. Only one lease realised more than the upset placed upon the four runs submitted for sale. This was Run 333, Glenorchy, consisting of 51,560 acres, the lease being purchased by Edwin Barker at £32 per annum. The upset was £25 per annum. The other runs disposed of were Runs 179, 163, and 163 a. (grouped), area 16,200 acres, Tuapeka, British and Australasian 'I'rust and Loan Company, at £ 100 per annum; Run 06, Clutha, 2900 acres, David Murray, at £30 per annum; and Kim 333 a, Glenorchy, 23,780 acres, .James Maben, at £30 per annum.
