THE BELIEFS OF THE BOERS.
LONDON, January 16. (Received Jan. 17, at 0.i7 a.m.) A thousand Boer refugees who have been detained in camp at Pretoria, Kroonstad, and Rhenoste" Spruit declare that they understood that Mr Kruger was still in the Transvaal, that De Wet was besieging Capetown, and that General Duller had been driven back in Natal.
