A WARNING TO .MINEQWNERS. LONDON, January 4. (Received Jan. s,'._at 8.15, a.m.) Commandant Viljoen :was the author of the recent burning of the mino property at Doksburg, when £50,000 worth was destroyed. Lord Kitchener has warned the mineowners not to reply upon regular troops for protection. This has caused some little afixicty, but the rccontly-fonned Rand Rifles are expected to suffice for all purposes.
