TTie animal volley firing of the Bunedin Engineers took place on Saturday afternoon under the supervision of Colonel 'Webb, assisted liy Major Bcal and Scrgeant-majots Towler and Buchanan. Major Beal's prize for the section milking the best average in tho volley firing was won by No. 4 section, under Serjeant Dredge, with a score of 18.81, Ao. 1 Section coming next with 17.71. The average for the company v.-as 17.56. In the independent firing No. 1 section {Sergeant Tonkin's) was first'with 2G.42.
