SHOOTING MATCH.
On Saturday afternoon at the Rifle Club's range teams from A. and T. Burt (Limited) and ,T. Speight and Co. (Limited) met to try conclusions, when, notwithstanding a tricky wind, some very fair shooting was clone. At the finish Mr J. Hay, on behalf of Burl's team, thanked Speight and Co. for the afternoon's pleasure afforded them. Mr C. Speight replied, and said he hoped to be at a return match at an early date. The conditions of the match were: 10 shots and two sighters at 200 yds and 500 yds; and from the scores below it will he soon that Burt's team were returned the winners with a majority of 2!) points: — A. and T.
