Wheat. —There is a steady demand for prime samples at late quotations. Other sorts, however, aro very slow of sale except at fowl feed prices. We quote: Best velvet, 2s 5d to 2s 7-Jd; medium, 2s 3d to 2s 4d; best Tuscan, 2s Od to 2s Hd; medium, 2s 4d to 2s sd; fowl wheat, Is lid to 2s Id. Oats: There has been a fair demand experienced cUiring the week, but buyers are only operating for immediate requirements. We quote: Best feed, Is 7d to Is 8d; medium and inferior, Is 3d to Is GJd per bushel; Sutherlands, Is 8d to Is 9d. Barley: Prime samples have Sonic attention, but in medium qualities there is little business passing. Feed rorts are quoted at l's 3d to Is Gd; milling, Is Gd to Is lOd; prime malting, 2s 3d to 2s Gd; Lakes, 3s to 3s 3d per bushel. Rycconi, nominally, 2s to 2s 3d, no sale Flour: We quote £G 10s. Oatmeal in 25'b, £10. Pearl barley, £10 10s. Bran, £3 I.os. Pollard, £4. Nelson hops are quoted fit lOd to lid (f.0.b.). Chaff: Good demand for best qualities. Clovers, rape, etc., all fresh. Potatoes.—Market well supplied. Prime Oamarus, 37s Gd to 40s; medium, 355; kidneys, slow, 30s to 40s. Hides, 3Jd to Hd, according to weight and condition. Tallow.—Rough fat, 13s to 14s; rendered, 15s to 183; extra, to 20.3 per cwt. Horsehair, Is 2d to Is 4d. Sheepskins.—Crossbreds, 2s 3d to ss; extra, to 5s Gd. Lambskins, Is 4d to 2s 9d; extra, to 3s 4d. Pelts, Gd to 2s. 'We held our usual sale of skins on Tuesday, v.'hnn there was a good demand. Rabbit.skras.—We offered v large catalogue this week, and, alter good competition, cleared the lot at satisfactory prices. Best winters brought quite Id per lb higher than at the previous sale.
