The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company (Limited) have received the following cable from their London office: —

"Wool: The sales cloyed' firmly, this day. Since close of last sale? grensy merino super is per lb lower, and greasy merino medium and inferior, and fine greasy, crossbred, gd to Id per lb lower; whilst- medium greasy crossbred and coarse greasy crossbred are par to id per lb higher. Medium and inferior scoured merino has declined 2(1 to 2jd since close of. last sales, and for super scoured nierino the sales eloped at an average decline of 2d per lb on last sales' prices."
