Messrs Wright, Stephenson, and Co. report as jollows:—On account of Mi W. Gordon Hich we offered his famous Toi Tois estate near Fortrose, subdivided into four farms, at our sale rooms, the Crescent, Invercargill, on Saturday, 21st inst. There was mi excellent abidance at the sale, and good competition for the different farms, onch one of which rea liscd price? considerably in advance of the upsets, as will be seen from the list subjoined. Mr Kieh s property contains 1819 acres, and. is admittedly one of the finest grazin" jiropcrties in the whole of Southland, besides" behi<* hard to excel for the production of root and gram crops. The snle of the property renders necessary the dispersion of Mr' Rich's magnificent fleck of crossbred shecu, and the he?d of beautifully-bred cattle, together wUh ho'rae« implements etc., and the sale has' been fixeci for Wednesday, 2nd May. The following is a full account of the sale of the property — Lotl: Homestead block, containing about-933 acres, beautifully situated, and one of the best and prettiest properties in Southland.
