The nianr.ger of the Big River mine rcoorts that tlie ground in the western crosscut is looking more favourable. The reef broken is still, going down, and carries a little gold. Operations in the Golde?t Lead are now looking favourable, being conducted in good reefing icountry. Further developments are expected this week.
