A CONTRACTORS' DISPUTE.

The case Wilkie v. Wilkie, which haft occupied the attention of the court for. nearly a week, concluded on Saturday^ when Judge Edwards reserved his decision.' The parties are brothers, the defendants be- - ing contractors for the Coolgardie railway,, on which the profits Vexe said to be from £150,000 to £160,000. Plaintiff Was takett in as a partner, but subsequently expelled in consequence of his drinking habit*— there being a clause in the partnership agreement giving the power of expulsion-" Plaintiff claims that the notice of expnK sion is null and void, chiefly on the grounds that he was not in a fit state to understand the notice served on him. He also denied that the notice was served, and ■asks for such share in the profits as bit Honor directs. •
