HOSPITAL TRUSTEES.

The regular meeting of the Hospital. Trustees, held yesterday afternoon,. was attended by Messrs Miller (chairman), Myers, Wright, Carrojl,'- Green,-Brown, Wills, and Clark. An apology was received from Mr Robin for non-attendance. - . , . .-. . . The Hcmse Committee'reported having approved of'th'e following holidays in each year: Good ■ Friday,'■ Buster Monday. New Year's Day, Christmas Day; Boxing Day, and the Queen's Birthday.—The Chairman mentioned that fhe staff got a holiday irrespective of these-days;-'And that; as far as the male staff was'concerned, they could not all .get off on the days mentioned, but that those remaining on. duty got another day off.—The committee supplied a list of furniture required for the ehildren's^war'd.-^The report was approved. Tho Financo'-Committee reported; that ''ralaries and ' accounts amounting to £516 - had" -'been passed for payment for March.*'; 'The.receipts for March were: From -'in-patients, ,£125 17s, out-patients £10, sales 16s 6d, .donation 10s, and Industrial School £3 2s 6dY total; £110 6s. The receipts for the current month to date were: From inpatients £6.0 13s, dut-p.-Uients £6 14s, sales'£l Is Bd, donation (Chinese) £35 16s 3d, W. Burns'--I", and1 C-Robinoon 10s; total, £101 18s lid. ■ The committee- were pleased to acknowledge"the receipt of £35.16s 3d, subscribed by the''Chinese residents of Dunedin and suburbs. 'The debit balance at the end of the financial-year..amounted to £27 6s 4d. The hunk pass-book showed a credit balance of £41 Is 7d,'dopoiiits since £18 14s 6d, and cash in hand'£l7 16s 6d;: total credit. £77 12s -7d. The committee recommended that application be made-to the Hospital Board for the usual monthly contribution. —Adopted. - A progress payment of, £100, was passed to Mr F. 'W. Xyders,,,'oh the";recommendation of Messrs 'Mason, arid-Wales, in connection with the children'B>'ward.' ■ . ■' The. oiit-'dbor patient relief list showed that the cases' for Marcli''numbered 579.
