OWAKA STOCK SALE.
Messrs Maclean and Co. report having held their monthly sale at M'lntyre a yards, on Friday, 14th inst. The weather was simply terrible, but despite this fact, the entry was a fair one. consisting of 80 head of cattle and 16 pi"s. The attendance of buyers and farmers was only moderate, but those present stuck manfully to their guns,'and-the sale, Inkin"- all things into consideration, was very satisfactory. We sold: For Messrs R. Crawford, F. Pollock, A. Moncurr, Jno. Thomson, J. Oughton, J. Callaglian (junr), A. Allan, W. Wilson, C. Colurnb, W. Allan, W. Horan, Dabinett, Mrs M'Latchie and others, steers, at £2 7s to £4 ss:- heifers, at £1 13s to £+; rows, at £2 2s to £5; calves, at 16s; pigs, at 10s 6d to 12s.
