Daily Times Oflice, Monday evening. Tins amount of revenue received at' the custom house to-day on _goods oleared for consumption was £2303 5s Bd. GRAIN AND PRODUCE REPORTS. Messrs Donald Reid and Co. report that prices ruled as under at their auction sale on Monday: — Oats.—The quantity on offer was more than sufficient for trade requirements, and m the absence of demand for many of the lots on offer they were passed in. Good to best feed sold at Is 3d to Is 3_d; milling, Is 4|d; inferior feed, at Is 2d to Is 2_d per bushel (sacks extra). . ■ Wheat.—We offered a few lots of good fowl 'wheat, which sold at Is lid to 2s Id per bushel (sacks in). • r Potatoes.—Tho market was well supplied, ancl on account of the quantity offering bidding was not so keen. Best Derwents sold at £1 17s 6d to £2;, extra prime to hi. 1% (xl per ton (sacks in) Chaff.—The demand for prime oaten sheaf is good, late quotations for this class being well maintained. Medium and inferior sorts are not in request, and in consequence are not so readily quitted. We quote: Best oaten sheaf, £2 10s to £2 15s; medium to good, £2 to £2 7s 6d per ton (bags extra). Messrs Dalgety and Co. report having held their weekly auction sale, when the attendance was good: — . Oats—Supplies are coming in freely, and prices are somewhat easier.' We quote milling up to Is <Vid; good to best feed, Is 3d to Is 3_d; medium, Is 2*d; inferior, Is to "Wheat.—Prime milling is in fair demand, but buyers will not tako anything but really good quality.
