CHRISTCHURCH, April 12. Tho. yarding..'of all - souv of stock at Addington wero small, including 3-199 fat sheep and lambs, 2990 storo sheep,'4Bo head cattle, and d 92 pigs. Business throughout wan brisk, and nearly every lino was sold. There was a distinct advance in fat and store sheep.

Fat Cattle.—With the exception of one line of good steers, the 20_ head fat cattle wore mostly light-weights, With a good deal of inferior quality. Best beef brought 18s per 1001b, but other-, sorts drugged slightly, but maintained late ratee—viz., 12s to 17s Gd. There was a rather'better demand for store cuttle, and a good cleal-unee was made.

Fill Sheep.—Very few'good lines of .freezing sheep coming lo hnnd kept, expert buyers oil the market, but the local, trade came in, and prices firmed slightly. Some Chatham. Inland wethers, large framed, coarse sheep, all ot which were aged, sold at from 10s Gd to 12a lid. Butchers' owes met.with keeu competition, and rose from Is 3d to 2s. per head.; prime wethers realised frofu lss. to 16s dd; good, 13s to Ids Gd; inferior, lis 3d to 12s Gd", best heavy-weights, (butchers' ewes), lis to 15s, and up to 16a 3d for extra prime; good, 12s Gd to 13s Gd; nnd others', 10s to 12s.

Fftt Lqmbs.—The smallest' yarding of fat lambs for the season met v good sale, and pricc3 for; good advanced Gd to 9d per head. Better sorts brought 10s-Gd'to 12a 9d ; butchers, 9s; to ios. ..'..-

Store Sheep.—Breeding ewes'' and turnip sheep and lambs.showed a slight'advance, and all changed hands. Forward wethers, 12s lOd to 13s 9tt; others, 10s. Od to lis 2d; mixed two-tooths, 9s 6d to 13s. breeding owes, twotooths, lis fld; two and four-tooth, lis. Id; four, six, and eight-tooths, 9s to lis sd; sound mouthed, '9s ld to 9s -lid; lull-mouthed, 7s ld to 9s; lambs, 88"to_ lOs'Od.
