The Dunedin No. 1 went to-Bishopscourt on Saturday to play the Roslyn No. 1, but as the latter did not put in an appearance the Dunedin team claimed the match by default. The visitors express surprise that they were not informed of the non-intention of their opponents to turn up. Hendley played Albion No. 1 on the Oval, and defeated them by 17 on the first innings. Hendley, batting first, ■ totalled 31 runs,---to-wards which 'J. Cameron contributed 15. The Albion replied with 14 runs, Wallace (five for 3) arid Fish ( five for 6) proving too much for them.
