THE NEW ZEALAND TEAM.
The match next Saturday between the New Zealand team and the Otago Thirteen is exciting a large amount of interest in cricket circles, and if the Otago men play up in the way they did against ..Canterbury a very good game should result. No doubt many of the supporters of the game will avail themselves of the opportunity offered of forming their own opinions of the merits of the team to represent us in; Australia, and also of making themselves' acquainted with the quality of our northern cracks. The team will arrive on Saturday morning, and will put up at the Provincial Hotel during their stay in this city. We have received a neatly printed programme of the tour of the Now Zealand team. Owing to the Waikare having been detained a day before starting on her excursion trip to the Sounds, the team will now not leave Dunedin until the 31st inst. and the match against South Tasmania will commence on the day of-their arrival at Hobart.
