■M. Dupuy, Premier, has given -an indication of leaning towards the: Left Wing in the Chamber of Deputies, and it is considered that the Cabinet are' weakened thereby. • '
It is rumoured that President Faure does not' relish the growing attacks'on him, and intends resigning, .with the object of precipitating his re-election. '
■ -Le Temps states that in consequence of the recent tour of the Kaiser to Turkey and Palestine, M. Constans," who ■ Was a member of several French Ministries, has been nominated to the vacant embassy ■at Constantinople. The object of his appointment is to promote French influence with the Porte.
