HIGHCLIFF.

The.Highcliff School broke up for the holidays on Friday, when a very successful concert was held, the hall being crowded, to excess. The items consisted of songs, recitations, and dialogues,' which were successfully rendered by the pupils. Refreshments, provided by the ladies of the district, were handed round, and after justice was done to the good things the committee presented each pupil attending the school with a book. The Rev. A. Greig proposed a vote of thanks to the teachers and the committee.
