Bobadil and Majestic and Bobadil and Manfred for the Derby and Melbourne Cup double.- •.••■; At a meeting of,the Victoria Raciog Ciub Committee Mr Septimus Millar (chairman) announced that the committee were so unanimous in frvsur of the totaliaatar that country clubs would be inyited to join in a conference for the purpore of considering what action wns necessary to obtain legislation in the direction of introducing*the machine. Mcseru Bdward Manifold, Phillip Russell, C. M. Lloyd, A. Yuille, R. Crawford, and M. O'Shannasey were elected members of the committee. Messrs Richard Grice and D. S. Wallace were rejected. The committee decided that the distanoe of hurdle raced shall for the future be not less , than two miles.
