(Received May 13, at 9.15 a.m.) Consequent on the disaffection amongst ;he railway employes, the Italian Governnent have placed the whole of the railway lystsm under military control. Military Officers now superintend the traffic. An army of reservists are now serving on ;he railways. They -will resume their iniformß. A number of Socialist newspaper editors lave been arrested for inciting the people to revolt. < Many Italians in Switzerland are returning to their own country, and are assembling at Ohiasso, a Swiss -village near Como, for the purpose of considering their attitude in regard to the revolutionary outbreak. Owing to a strike of the employees in the gasworks, Milan is in darkness. Cycling in the city is prohibited. Serious riots have occurred at Como and Hbvara.
