Saeah writes, as a■' woman and a mother, protesting agsiast the action of the members of the Women's National Convention in arrogating to themselves the position of representatives of the women of New Zealand, and expresses the opinion that it is a disgrace to their sex that women should meet and publicly discuss such questions as the Women's National Council have been discussing. She wonders who does the cooking, ( washing, &c., id the household of these •• blatant female orators," and concludes by recommending to these . women a careful perusal of Timothy ii, 9-12, and Timothy v, 14-15.
