A letter was read ' from Lieutenant-colonel Webb askiujj'if Forbiiry Park would beavailable for a proposed volunteer encampment from the 7th to*the lOfch April (iuclnsive)', and upon what terms.—lt was resolved—" That the application be graHlecl upon payment of £10 10s and upon the usual conditions."

Mr Thomas Morrin'a jearlings,sold were submitted s>nd passed. ■ It was .resolvftd—" That t{-nd«rs be cslled for the supply of a band for the Jubilee mesting." ■ It was resolved—"That bookoaakew, tote bettors, and disqualified persons be not admitted to the grounds at the Jubilee'mteiing." .A letter was received from Captain Alexander, AD.C, stating that his Excellency the Governor.'and Lady Ratifuriy would be pleased to attend the Jubilee imco msetiug, and would arrive on the course on. the first dayin time to see the Duaedin Cop run.r-It was mentioned, that his Excellency would-be entertained at luncheon each day, the president undertaking to provide the second day's .luncheon in a large, matqiiee in the carriage paddock. i Nine new members were balloted for and elected.
