TO THE EDITOR. Sis, —Mr Eraser's letter on this subject is much-called-for aud demands prompt attention. ' This matter cf rubbish-dumping afc the Southern recreation ground is a filthy, disgusting, discreditable, and insanitary procedure. A destructor is touch needed for such rubbish, and if propsriy utilised should pay both for interest on capital required and on workiugexpenses. It is high tima many of our citizens took a greater interest in municipal sanitation and endeavoured to have these and other nuisances rectified. —I am, &c , . ■ ' ' MILLEN COUGHTEBY.
