TRINITY CLUB,

The annual meeting of the Trinity Cricket Club was held in tho Trinity Church Schoolroom on Monday evening, whon there, were 30 members present. Mr W. Bull (the president) occupied the chair. The secretary's report was read and adopted. The balance sheet showed a balance in hand of 11s 4d. Mr A. Cooper was presented with a medal (given by Mr A. J. Bloxam) for tho highent uattiog average. The following officebearers were elected for the ensuing year:— President, Mr W. Bull (re-elected); vicepresidents—Messrs A. Beck, S. C. Phillip, R. Vanea (re-elected), Rev. H. E. Bellhouse, Mr E. Rosevesr; secretary, Mr G. H. Taylor (reelected) ; treasurer, Mr A. R. Shepard (reelected) ; captain, Mr A. Cooper; deputyoaptain, Mr ; J.,Scott; Sslcction CommitteeCaptain, deputy - captain, Mr C. Clarke; General Committee —President, vice-president, secretary, treasurer, captain, deputy-captain, Messrs G. Balfour, B. Bremner, C. Ross. Mr J. Bsck, last year's capts-in, who is leaving the club, was accorded a special vote of thanks for the efficient manner in which he promoted tha club's interests. Thres trophies were promised to tne club this season—a bit from Mr J. Beck for the highest butting average, and a trophy each from Messrs A. Cooper and C. Ross, to be given as the committee direct. It was resolved to leave the matter of joining the Otago Cricket6r»' Association in the hands of the committee to report fully at the next meeting. Tha opening of the season with a mutch President v. Vice-president was fixed for tho 26th Septomber. It was unanimously agreed that tho club be opsn to the members and adberenta of the different Wesleyau Methodist churches in the City and suburbs. Votes of thanks to the retiring office-bearers aud tho chairman brought the meeting to a close.
