Lyders and James Harrison applied for a dam site (two acres) at Gamtcock Gully* Hindon. —Granted, subject to the condition that the height of the dam bank be not raised above its present level. Michael M'Ewen applied for an extended claim (two acres), Style's Gully. Hiudon.— Granted. ■• The Barewood Quartz Mining Company applied for a tunnel prospectiDg license 2670 ft long in block Vll, Nenthorn.—To be recommended. Several applications by the Official Assignee in the estate of John Ryley were granted. An application by John W. Roberts to construct a water rice at the Upper Deep Stream was granted for 15 years.
