Owing to the dispute between the Education Bokrc! and tho school committee re the appointment of a female pupil teacher a deadlock has occurred, and last night the committee passed th.B following resolution :—" As the board hava ignored thoir own regulations and slao tho act, thia committee, therefore, close the girls' school till the beard comply with their own regulations." The school was closed accordingly this morning. __ I _
