Mr W. A. Walton reports having sold by public auction, at his Central Auction Rooms, High street, the following properties (there being a good attendance at the sale):—Allotment 77, 78, and 79, Lancefield street, Mavyhill, Cavershani, together with dwellings thereon, for the sum of £S2 lOa, purchased by Mr W. E. Lane; allotment 26, John street, Cavereham, having an area of 24 poles and frontage of 66ft, together with dwelling house erected thereon, purchased by Mr H. Boyles, for the sum of £ICO ; section 80, block XXXVII, containing quarter-acre, situate at corner of Dundas and Forth streets, Dunedin, together with two dwellings thereon, being sold to Mr W. K. Lane for the sum of £225.

Mr E. J. Bryant reports having sold allotment 21, block XIII, extension of South'Dunedin, with four-roomed cottage, for .£l4O, to Mr A. Ross; also allotments 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, Sheil Hill, with six-roomed house, &c, for .£475, to a purchaser. Messrs Wright, Stephenson, ' and Co. report having sold by auction to-day at Palnierston by order of the execaters in the estate of the lite John Madden, his farm near Dunbadr,- being sections 20 and 22, block VIII, Moeraki district, containing 61 acres or thereabouts, to Mr Alfred Cockerill for £250.
