The.Hinemoa left for Little Barrier Island last night with » party of SO armed men of the Permanent Force, under Lieutenant Hume, also Mr "M'Alistor, representing the Crown Solicitor, in order to again oviob some eight or nine Natives, original owners of the island, who are reported to hayo once more taken up residence on the Little Barrier. Tenetahi, Wi Taima, Tenetahi's son (Keri Tenetahi), and Kino Tamihana were arrested on a charge of wilful trespass on the Little Barrier Crown lands, Thoy were brought bafore the Police Court late this afternoon, and remanded till to-morrow. Warrants are out for the arrest of four others.

At a meatin".of the Auckland Institute the offer of the Government regarding the Little Barrier Mand was considered. It was fiaally agreed to leave the matter to be arranged by Professor Thomas and tho secretary.

When the Supreme Court resnmed this morning, Mr Skerrett said he was not prepared at present to announce what course the Crown intended to take with regard to the remaining charges against Leonard Harper, and asked for au adjournment until to-morrow. Counsel for the defence raised no objection, and .the adjournment was accordingly granted. . ,
