THE WOOL SALES.

The third series of wool sales, opening on April 28, will bo limited to 325,000 bales. The fourth saiien opens on Jnne 30, and is limited to 375,000 bales; the fifth Series on September 22, rcheu an unlimited quantity will bo catalogued.
A medium selection of wool was offered to-day, bat the competition was atfll very active.
Messrs Dalgety and Co. have received the following cablegram from their London office, doted 18th inst. :—''The third series of wool sales have been fixed to open on the 28th April, and the quantity of new wool to be admitted is limited to 325,000 balfs, provided this quantity be reached before the commencemeat of the s?lefi, no Wools arriving after the opening day to be admitted The fourth series have been fixed for tbe 30th June, the quantity of wool to be admitted is limited to 375,000 bales. The fifth series have been flied for the 22nd September, and nil arrivals up to the opening of the sale will be admitted. The sixth series open on the 24th November, and' the list of arrivals will close oil the 20th Noremhor,"
