FOOTBALL MEETINGS.
TO THS BDITOR.
S^b, —I observe that the various football clobs are holding their annual meetings, and I am struck by the fact that, though they are numerically the largest body of athletes in Dunedin, yet they have no room of their own in which to hold their meetings. This I think indicates want of enterprise on their part. The boating clubs have their own sheds; the cycling clubs have proper accommodation. It remains for our noble army of footballers—the pride and flower of onr manhood —to hold their meetings in hotels. Could not a bazaar be organised to provide funds to erect a suitable hall. I give the suggestion to the officers of the various football clubs in Dunedin. After consultation, I hope that in process of time a suitable ball will be erected for the Dnnedia footballers.—l am., March 9. A Mother op Bors.
