Tb.3 ficst half-yearly meeting of the District Grand Lodge of Druids for the North Island was commenced to-dsy. Kupresentativaa were present as follows :—Bro. Macky (Wellington), D.G.P. Bro. Jennings (Auckland), Bros. Read (Totara), Morgan (Wangaaui), Sykcs (Waujanni), Hodgersen (Oroara), Thompson (Blenheim), Hnbble (Turanganui), Snedden (Wellington), M'Kenna(Pafcea), Thompson (Marton), Bloid (Horowhenua), aud Gardner (Otald). The restrict presidents were elected as follows:— No. 1, Bro. Carey; No. 2, Bro. White; No. 3, Kro. Gardener; No. 5, Bro. Hamerfcon; No. 6, Bro. Jennings ; No. 7, Bro. Hobble; No. 8, Bro. Thompson. The presidentsfor districts'!-. 0, and 10 were not appoiuf«d. Toe district yrand secretary's report s-howed that the district v?as formed in February last, composed of 11 lodges with an aggre/jata membership of 562. Since th3n two new lodges have been opened, making 13 lodges, with an aggregate roll of 529, or an addition of 77 members in five months.
