The following have been ra-elected:—Mr T. R. Buchanan (L.), Eastern Division cf Aberdeenshire • Mr G. Lambert (L.), South Moltoc Division of Devonshire; Mr J. Swift MacNeil (N.), South Donegal; Mr'J. JohnsonFerguson (L.), Loughborough; Sir J. N Kitson (L.), Colne Valley Division of Yorkshire ; Mr H. Cczens-Hirdy (L.), Norfolk Nortb; Mr J, A. JaCoby, Mid-Derby ; Admiral Field (C), Eastbourne Division of Sussex.
. Mt Talter (C) defeated Mr Tom Mann (Labour) by 1300 votes.
The Conservatives gained the Panbury (Oxfordshire) seat, Mr Brassey defeating Sir H. Sam nelson (L.). Mr E. H. Llewellyn (0.) won the Somerset North oeat, defeating Mr T. C. Warner (L.). The Libsral-Unionists gained the Camborne seat, where Mr A. Strauss defeated Mr C. A. Conybeare (L.j. The sitting members bave bean returned for the following electorates :—Mr J. Caldwell (L.), Mid-Lanark; Mr C. B. Eenfrew .(C), West Renfrewshire; Mr E. W.-Byrne (C), Walthamstow ; Dr G. <3. Clark (L.), Caithness; Commander G. R Bethel! (CJ, Holderness; Mr L. P. H-iyden (P.), South Roscommon; Mr T. J. Healy (N.) ( North Wexford. Sir W. Vernon Harcourt has been elected for Weat Monmouthshire by 72-i3 votes to 1956 prilled by Mr Williams (C).' Mr Green has been elected for Chesterton. Sir C Dilke considers the chief cause of the Liberal overthrow, is the withdrawal of Mr Gladstone's great personality, which has not been replaced by Lord Rosebery, who is almost unknown to the mass of the electors.
