There was a good attend inee at the City Hall ou Wednesday, wheaan entertainment was given by Messrs Collins, Browne, and Stapleton's combination. The performer* are all well known iv Dunedin, and are deservedly popular with- the patrons of the City Hail. Mi>s Millicent Mowbray, who sang "Flags of all nations" and "Jack's the lad," met wifch a very favourable reception, as did Miss Malvino, who contributed " Twiggy Voo" and " Gam away," while Miss Hettie Howarde created a good deal of amusement in her humorous sketches. Mr Chas. Brookes xvns heard to advantage in his descriptive song*. Messrs Craydon and Wocd were entertaining in their "original act," and Mr Frank May sapg with effect; " The ship that I love " and " The boy from Mullinear." Messrs J. R., Stapleton, Collins, and Browne provided the comic element, and thafc their efforts were successful was plainly evident from the frequent outbursts of Unghtf-r while they occupied the stage. The Irish sketch " The Arrival of Mr Warde" and the farce "Do you Know my Motber" were also very amusing. Another concert wili be given on Saturday evening.
