A considerable amount of indignation is expressed by the crew of H.M.S. Watfaroo at the action of the authorities in ordering the ship back to the Islands. The men assert that this ccturgs means wreaking the health of, if not killing, a large number of them, inasmuch as the Island climate at this season of the ye»r is of an almost pestilential nature, sod exceedingly trying to Europeans. They claim thai they have been five months in the Islands, during which time they have had a wretched existence, it being all sea work in frightful wc&tfeer, besides which they have been oa "salt grab" tack all the time. At present there are nearly 60 of the crew suffering from ulcers and clicsatic debility; and it was solely oh account of the health of the men that tha captain took the responsibility of coming across to New Zealand, in order that the crew of ZOO men should have & thorough chsßge. .
