ST. KILDA BOROUGH COUNCIL.
The regular fortnightly' meeting of the--1 Sfe Kilda Borough Council was held last night, ana was attended by the Mayor (Mr Gourley), Crs FaiTell,"Culling, Mitchell, Dent, and Allan.
The Clerk of the South Dunedin Council wrote inviting the, mayor and councillors to attend conference,, to bs held in the South Dunediri Council Chambers on the 13th inst., to consider the advisability of the Caversham, St. Kilda, and South Dunedin boroughs amalgamating.—lt was resolved that the mayor, Cr Dent, and the clerls attend the.conference. _..•' Ihe Inspector reported that a portion, of Jackson street required farming—four chains and 15ft, He also reported on a drain near Jlr Scanlan's.—. It was decided1 that the formation he done, and that the drain ibe constructed. J. ..... "
