OTAGO YACHT CLUB.

The third series of races for the Otago Yacht Club's trophies wss held on Saturday afternoon under favourable circumstances, a fresh southwest breeze enabling the boats to get over the | course in good time. The following are the results :— SECONn-CLASS Yacuts.—Ruru, lbr 35min, 1; Premier, lhr 39min, 2; Rambler, lhr 44min, 3. Winifred and Mistral also competed.

Third-class Yachts.—Huia, lhr BOmin, 1; Dream, 2hr, 2. Open Boats.—Volunteer, lhr KOmin, 1; Psyche, lhrs4min,2; Carbine,lhrsßmln,3.

As a result of the series of races Ruru and Premier aro equal in the Second-class with 8 points each, and will therefore have to sail again to decide the winner. Dream wins the Third-class with 8 points, and Psyche the Open Boat] with 8 points.
