Booth, the temperance lecturer, is at present in Dunedin for the benefit of his health. Mr T. Kennedy Macdonald has been re-elected chairman of directors of the AA'ellington AVoolleu Company. t The Rev. AY. S. Bean (a son-in-law of the Minister of AVorks) has accepted the curacy of the parish of Addington, near Christchurch. A storcman at L2 a week was advertised for in the Age the other morning, and a crowd of 400 gathered in front of the premises mentioned. AVhen they found it was a hoax the crowd marched to the Age office and demanded the name of tho advertised. The paper refused to give it.
