Wheat.—TKe'position of the market remains unchanged, buyers still holding off and purchasing only as their,j>rpsent requirements necessitate. Ihe reports from Home are not of a nature to inspire confidence in values maintaining their present standard, for some little time at least, and are no doubt a strong factor in the caution displayed by purchasers in operating. Quotations are :—Prime velvet and Tuscan, 3s lOd to 4s 2d ; ordinary, 3s 6d to ,3s 9d; inferior and fowls' feed, from 2s for broken to 3s 3d for whole. Oats.—Owing-to'the small arrivals, consequent, as stated above, upon the recent unfavourable weather, the market has maintained the firmness lately reported, especially for prime milling; at tlie same time, it is patent that so soon as consignments assume anything like dimensions prices ?_' c *-1 L nd __ !r ccc,de- We luote : p -'-nie milling, Is 7d; bright feed, ls 6_d; medium, ls 5d to Is ud inferior (in poor demand), ls ld to ls 4d. %$-%£__s&£s s7d(sacksGdless2ipe ' rlpn!!,a^'_T Be- suJ )ply has not been m*>re than the demand.
