We are not in a position to boast of having broken up the combination formed to maintain Hardware prices. Our trade has not decreased of late; on the contrary, it is growing steadily. Had our business fallen off, probably we should have been driven to adopt exceptional measures to revive it; but in our case no such steps have been necessary. We beg to notify our numerous Customers in Town and Country that having secured the Leading Place in the Hardware Business, we intend to keep ifc.
