'The amount of customs revenue received to-day ton goods cleared for consumption was 4244718s Bd. Messrs E. C. Reynolds and Co. report havirifc offered at auction yesterday parts of sections B and 7, block XIX, George street, Dunedin, with ■dwelling house thereon, at present occupied by Dr Closs. There was a fair attendance, and after spirited competition tho bidding reached the sum of L7lO, at which flguro the property was passed in, this 'amount being hardly up to the auctioneers' limit.
