CRICKET MATCH.

Sydney, January 13. (Received January 14, at 1 a.m.)

The cricket match between New South Wales and South Australia concluded to-day, when the visitors won by an innings and 53 ions. FRUIT EXPORT. The Government has received from London a special report on the English fruit market as a means of absorbing surplus fruit in New South Wales. The demand for foreign fruit in England amounts to L8,500,000 sterling. In the report the opinion is expressed that while green fruit would form au immediate trade, the greatest trade would be in dried and canned fruits.
