CANADA'S LATE PREMIER.

Ottawa, June 9. (Eeoolvad June 10, at 10.25 a.m.) The Canadian Parliament has decreed Sir J. Macdonald a State funeral. At Kingston the proceedings were of an impressive and memorable character. The Queen has expressed her deep sorrow at the Premier's death.
London, June 9. (Received June 10, at 10.25 a.m.)
In the House of Lords, Lord Salisbury, referring to Sir John, declared him to be as great a statesman as any nation has seen.
A memorial service in connection with the f"3eath of Sir John Macdonald will be held in Westminster Abbey.

The Canadian House of Commons has been draped in black. A vote deploring the late Premier's death has been passed.
Sir John Maodonald's remains will lie in state until Thursday.
