Tho weather was good for the regatta on Lake Forsyth, but a stiff wind made the water rather lumpy, The following are the results: Maiden Pairs: Lyttelfcon, 1; Cure, 2; Avon, 3; Canterbury, 4. A grand raco between the first two. Won by less than a quarter of a length, the Avon eight lengths away. Champion Fours (amateur championship of New Zealand) over a two mile course : Wellington, lj Canterbury,2; Union, 3. Won anyhow by over 100 yds, Canterbury five lengths in front of the Union. Daly stroked the Canterbury boat in place of Laurie, and M'Lean rowed No. 3. Time, 13inin ssp.c. Maiden Double Scullers : Cure, 1; Lyttelton, 2; Union, 3 ; Canterbury, 4. Another graud race; won by half a length. Junior Fours: Canterbury, 1; Lyttelton, 2; Union, 3; Avon, 4. A splendid race between tho first three boats. Canterbury won by a length and a half, Lyttelton a length in front of the Union. Junior Pairs: Lyttelton, I; Canterbury, 2; Avon, 3. A splendid race; won by a length and a half. Senior Double Sculls : Wellington, 1; Canterbury, 2; Cure, 3. Won by 10 or 12 lengths Tha Care steppd. aftey going half a mile! Maiden i'ours : Canterbury, 1; Avon, 2; Lyttelton, 3; Union, 4. Senior Pair: Wellington, 1; Canterbury, 3, Cure, S. Won by 150ydp. Ladies' Plate: Canterbury, 1; Lyttelton, 2; Union, 3. A good race; won by two lengths. Junior Double Sculls: Lytteltou, 1; Union,2; Canterbury, 3; Avon, 4. Won by five lengths' Single Sculls j VV, T. Mackay (Wellington), 1: F. Foster (Union), 2. Won easily by three lengths.

Mr Lowry, of Christchurch, informs us that the Pioneer Bicycle Club will b.e represented at the Dunedin Bicycle Club race meeting on March 1 by Messrs Hall, Hay ward, and North, Willmot, the Rangiora crack, will also be a competitor. There are also eight or 10 other ridera coming down from Canterbury. Hall will probably endeavour to ride 20 miles within the hour in the Twenty-five Mile Championship if the Dunedin track, is in good order for fast riding.

A London cablegram states that 1000 to 6 has been taken against Kirkham and Narelka coupled for the English Derby,
