Pollard. 7Jd. Pease: Blue Prussian, 4s Od. Chaff: New Zealand, £5 10s. Potatoes: New Zealand, £6 15s to £7i circular heads, £7 10a. Onions are scarce at £34 to £36. Butter: Dairy made, 7d to 8d; factory made, 9(1. Cheeße: Local made, 6d to 6d; New Zealand, 6d to 7d. Bacon is quiet at for local cured, fid to 7d; Now Zealand cured, 9d to 9Jd. Hama are in strong demand, New Zealand cured being quoted at Is. Melboubnb, October 18. Wheat is in demand, and holders ask 5s 6d. The market has an upward tendency. Flour: Stonemade, £1111s per ton; roller-made, £1115 a, with an upward inclination. Oats are quiet at-for prime stout, 3s o}d. Maize: New Zealand (ex store), 4b 6d.
