THE CZAII'S VISIT TO BERLIN.
[By Klbotmo Telkghaph.-—Copyright.] (Pee Press Association.) Berltn, October 14. (Received October 15, at noon.) The Czar has gone to Meklenburg. Ho took a cordial leave of the Kaiser, and the two monarchs were markedly friendly in their farewell greetings. Prince Bismarck is reported to have said he believed politics would not be in any way affected by the meeting of the two Emperors.
(Per Press Association.) London, October 14. (Received October 15, at 12.20 p.m.)
Despite official reports it seems certain
that relations between the Czar and the Emperor of Germany are not exceedingly cordial, the former being evidently offended at the coolness of the populace. Private authentic information states that when replying to the toast of his health the Czar was barely civil. The Emperor of Germany, while proposing the toast, speke in Russian out of compliment to his Imperial guest, but the latter responded in French.
