DISPOSAL OF CROWN LANDS.

Application for village settlement allotments in the Glenkenich and Heriot districts were balloted for at the Land Board room yesterday. There were 36 allotments opened for /selection in the above-named districts, besides six in the Maerewhenua, for which latter there were ns applications.
