OVERLAND TO BLIGH SOUND.

iNVERCARtm,!., January 9. Mr S. H. Moreton, artist, in a letter to the press, states that he and party (Messrs W. Y. Hall aud Kicrnan) found an easy pass from o Lake Te Anau, via Glaisnock burn -to Bligh Sound. They went as far as the saddle, which has an altitude of 3700 ft, and saw the sound about six miles off. On the top of the saddle there is a small lake which was frozen over, and trom which the Glaisnock burn is " fed. Sir Moreton says that on their return to the lake they met four Duncdiu High .School boys who had made the trip to the Sutherland Falls.
