ST. KILDA BOROUGH COUNCIL.

The ordinary meeting of the St. Kilda Borough Council, held on Tuesday evening, was attended by the mayor (Mr H. Gourley),andCrs Daly, Allan, Steuhouse, and Mitchell - A letter was received from the Charitable Aid Board advising the council as to the date of election of trustees. ■ The Tramway Company forwarded a letter stating that they were proceeding with the formation of a footpath in Victoria road. A letter from Timaru as to the proposed testimonial to Dr Maeintyre was received. Mr Fuller applied for repairs to the street near his property on Forbury road.—Referred to the inspector to report. Mr J. C. Burman asked that a footpath should j be formed in front of his property, and the inspector was ordered to proceed with the work. The inspector's report, which was of an unimportant nature, was adopted.
